Disrespecting one of us is disrespectful to the entire club. Nico is our student, a favorite in the fan-supported locker room. Those who destroyed the mural featuring his image are not part of the true Athletics family.
We understand the fans’ concerns, but being a fan of our club means maintaining dignity and respect. The club will always defend its interests and principles, remaining one family.
We have already contacted artist Carlos Lopez and are ready to help restore the portrait of Nico and Injaca Williams on the mural.
