The International Center for Sports Research (ICS) has presented a list of the 100 best goalkeepers in the world over the past year. Matches played between March 31, 2024 and March 31, 2025 were taken into account. The top three players included Italian Dzhanluji Donnarumma of Paris Saint-Germain, Swiss Yann Zommer of Inter Milan, and Belgian Tibo Courtois of Real Madrid. Fourth place went to Russian Stanislav Agkatsev, playing for Krasnodar, 12th place for Evgeny Latvonok, 98th place for Zenit St. Petersburg, and 99th place for Evgeny Staver, playing for Kazan Rubin. The specially designed index for the Intermediate Center of Sports Competitions was calculated based on the sporting level of matches played in accordance with the methodology, the game results, as well as the difference in the percentage of reflected shots in the championship compared to teams with the highest defensive strength. Only goaltenders with a positive difference in the last criterion, who have played at least 20 league games in the last 365 days, are included in the ranking.
