53-year-old specialist Niko Kovac ready to change Nuri Shahina as head coach of Borussia Dortmund. The first contacts between the parties took place on Thursday.
The former Bayern coach would like to sign a contract until the end of the season with the possibility of extending it by one or two years – which is currently unlikely. The club is therefore considering other candidates, including Urs Fischer.
It seems that the former Union coach agrees to lead the team temporarily and leave at the end of the season.
Borussia is in 10th place in the Bundesliga table with 25 points after 18 matches.
