Steffen Baumgart appointed to the post of head coach of the Union, reports the press service of the Berlin club.
Details of the contract with the 52-year-old specialist have not been specified. Baumgart, who replaced in this position Bo Svenssonwill start working with the team on January 2.
“Union” with 17 points ranks 12th in the German championship standings.
Baumgart has already coached Magdeburg, Berliner, Paderborn, Cologne and Hamburg.
