Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca shared his opinion on the work of referees in Blues matches.
I remember two or three games ago they didn’t give a penalty and then we received a letter (from PGMOL nuclear submarine – approx. ed.)) with an apology (and confirmation) that there should have been a penalty. However, we don’t need excuses.
The other day, in a match against Bournemouth, there should have been a red card (David Brooks, who grabbed Mark Cucurella by the hair – editor’s note). We have no intention of changing anything.
Neither we nor the club are ashamed of it. Someone else should be ashamed of this, but not us. I appreciate my players, each and every one of them.
