Chelsea fan received unique Al-Nasr striker card Cristiano Ronaldo “Golden Grail”.
28 years old Mark Listvan originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, became a fan of London around 2004 and began collecting Topps football cards.
Last year, Topps launched a “Pursuit of the Grail” competition featuring a series of cards of the Portuguese footballer. Listvan noted that he spent an impressive amount on the latest card:
When I had eight of the nine Ronaldo cards listed in the official ranking, I knew I had to go all out for the last one.
£5,000 was just a number in the quest for card collecting greatness. Paying that much for the last card in a complete deck? It was worth it.
