The Royal Belgian Football Union has decided to end its cooperation with the head coach of the national team Domenico Tedesco. His assistants are leaving with specialist Andreas Hinkel, Max Urvanchki, Vladimir Chepzanovitch, Humberto Tedesco And Luc Benstead.
The former Spartak Moscow helmsman took over the management of the Belgian national team in February 2023. Under his leadership, the team reached the 2024 European Championship, where they reached the 1/8 finals of the playoffs.
In the 2024/25 Nations League, the Belgians took 3rd place in Group 2 of League A, gaining 4 points. On March 20 and 23, 2025, the team will play the play-offs with League B representative Ukraine.
