Malaga is not satisfied with La Liga’s authorization to register Barcelona players Daniel Olmo And The power of Victor.
We express our perplexity at the decision taken by the Supreme Sports Council regarding Pau Victor and Dani Olmo, Barcelona players. In the 2019/20 season, Malaga accepted the impossibility of registering several players due to exceeding the salary limit. The rules are clear, the club made a mistake and complied with them. The measures to correct the situation did not stop there. Malaga was forced to play with 18 professional players registered for two seasons and to undergo a dismissal procedure in its sports staff (ERE), a striking case in the history of our country. This caused significant economic and sporting damage to the club. It should be remembered that the organization was in a disastrous financial situation, needed a deep restructuring and was facing a serious threat of extinction. La Liga and the RFEF are on the same wavelength as in 2019. However, this position of the CDD damages the reputation of the governing bodies by ignoring their arguments. This situation calls into question the system of economic control protected by the Sports Law, highly respected at international level and which guarantees the sustainability of our football.
