The new head coach of the Costa Rican national team is Miguel Herrera.
The specialist led the Mexico national team at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, where they reached the round of 16, beating Cameroon and Croatia in the group stage and drawing 0-0 against the hosts. In 2015, under his leadership, the Mexicans won the Gold Cup CONCACAF.
Herrera’s previous workplace was Tijuana, which he left in the summer of 2024.
