Valancienne has released a kit for the 2025/26 season.
The kit pays homage to Japan and is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the launch of production of the very first Yaris car in France, which rolled off the assembly line at the Onen factory on January 31, 2001. Toyota Concern is a partner of the French team.
The unique shape developed by Hummel incorporates elements of manga—Japanese comics.
The white version with red stripes on the shoulders is a reference to the Newteam team from the animated series Captain Tsubasa, which has been broadcast in France since the late 1980s. The goalkeeper’s shape, in turn, embodies the iconic characteristics of the character Thomas Price: bright orange, a white collar, restraint, and character.Instead of the club’s usual emblem, there is a red “V,” a reference to the “N” in the word newteam. The goalkeeper’s uniform features a yellow-green emblem—the flowers of the “N” for Newteam.
