Newkasl United’s Technical Director has been appointed Sudareshan Gopaladesikan.
He will lead the club’s football data operations, working closely with Eddie Hau and his coaching staff, as well as the teams responsible for efficiency, medicine, analytics, methodology, and personnel selection. His role will be to implement data-driven practices across all sporting units across the men’s, women’s, and academy teams.
The American joined the team Premier League after leaving Italy’s Atalanta, where he served as director of football intelligence. Before moving to Italy, he headed the sports department at Portugal’s Benfica.
