It has become known why Brazilian striker Vinicius Jr. was having difficulties in negotiations with Real Madrid regarding a contract extension.
The footballer’s current contract runs until the summer of 2027, and he earns €15 million per season. Vinicius would like to be paid €20 million in the future. However, Real Madrid’s leadership is in no rush to accept these terms so as not to provoke a “wage race” within the club and possible conflicts with other stars: Kilian Mbappe and Judah Bellingham.
