The Spanish coach is preparing for his first full season in the Russian Premier League. They have acquired interesting players through free agents. The Leopards have seriously approached strengthening their ranks. The team’s roster has been replenished with numerous newcomers. Several of them were found on the free agent market, and they are players with quite high potential. Although there are questions for each:
Roman Yezhov spent his entire adult career at Chertanovo and on the wingers, with the latter reaching the top. At that time, Spartak even considered the winger. But the footballer stayed in Samara; there were no more specific offers for training, and now the player has not renewed his contract.
Mikhail Ignatov is still the same young and promising player. The Italian also remembers Massimo Carrera’s time at Spartak and began to attract him to games. But from that moment on, the midfielder did not become the leader of the “red and white” as expected. In recent years, there has been criticism for the complete loss of identity, disputes with an agent, and the departure of his own club.
The signature is that the other is risk. Yezhov wasn’t at all like himself last season, and it’s unclear with Ignatov what position is optimal for him, what to do with his instability, etc. But both have something to prove, and Sochi is in their hands.
Rented a winger, who didn’t impress Stankkovych
Zinkovsky didn’t ask for a career at Spartak at all. The winger, after a successful spell on the wings, was one of the primary prospects – they had to compete with him. For three years, Anton never convinced himself that he was responsible for the level of the top club claiming titles. Stankovich, at one point, put him in a lackluster supply.
It happens – he’s a fairly talented performer, but he doesn’t reach the top clubs. The contrast between the Spartak and Winger periods showed that Anton’s true potential is revealed when he’s loyal, rather than cheap after the first mistakes. It’s clear that this is impossible at Spartak—hence, Winger found himself well beyond the MKAD.
Of course, after the move to Samara, it wasn’t possible to effectively correct the situation: in 11 spring matches, the player stood out with only one goal (Tsypchenko assisted at the end of the match with Orenburg). But Zinkovsky even looked like himself. And he hardly wanted to return to the Serb. A new move to Sochi is an opportunity to regain self-confidence and leave Spartak. Sochi is now the most attractive option for Anton.
He’s once again turning to players who weren’t useful at Zenit.
But this is already a classic. The Southerners played many players associated with Zenit: Novoselsev, Tsallagov, Poloz, Nabiullin, Mostovoy, Noboa, Zabolotny, Mevl. Now they are giving a chance to a young footballer who did not have a place at his native club. Dmitry Vasiliev is a student of the “blue-white”, who at the age of 17 was sent to “Orenburg” on lease. For a while, there was even hope that the midfielder would repair it in his native club – after a business trip, Semak left him, Dmitry even spent a full match with the “Torch” in the 23/24 season, having played against Spartak and Ural. But in the center of the field, Zenit had the biggest competition – and as soon as the midfielder retired with an injury, Semak focused again on the legionnaires. Vasiliev only played two games last season. Semak reluctantly trusts young players, so there’s no point in harboring false illusions – and the loan in Sochi is likely to give him a real start to his career.
Sergey Volkov has also gone in this direction with him. An interesting paradox: the Krasnodar player was removed from his hometown club, which offered the best conditions, and as a result, the Bulls became champions, while at Zenit Volkov was injured for the entire season. Now, Vega has been added to the defensive line at Santos, and Gorshkov and Karavaev are on the right wing (he will return to the joint squad by the fall) – and Sergey seems to have no place in the team. At the same time, Sochi doesn’t have enough players of this level. It’s clear that Volkov is quite young, so after the rental in Sochi, he will fight for a place at the best club. But the southerners themselves need one more player to gain a foothold in the elite without unnecessary problems.
There’s one more on the way. The legionnaires returned, having been sent on loan for the period in the Premier League – someone else is useful.
When Sochi couldn’t escape the start, I had to decide something with the legionnaires because of the new limit. The loan was sent by Victorian Angban, Yaheu Attiyat Alla, and Saul Guarirap. The Ivory Coast player from Sochi lost a place at the start after crosses, and the Moroccan didn’t show up on loan. But there is Saul Guarirap. The forward gave an enchanting segment in

When, during six months in Sochi, he scored eight goals in 10 league matches. And in
Central Sports Club Army Despite the difficult adjustment, he has also taken root. His goals secured the Army’s victories over Akron, Dynamo, and Krasnodar, helped them beat Lokomotiv, and he also scored against Spartak. Thus, the main credit for the Red-Blue’s recent third-place finish goes to the Sochi legionnaire. In the current Sochi, Saul will once again be the top scorer. Moreno already knows how to work with him, which will pay off.Sochi
