London’s West Ham will strengthen its midfield by inviting midfielder Harvey Elliott from Liverpool. The English champions are seeking £40 million (€46.4 million) for the 22-year-old. West Ham is not willing to pay that amount at the moment, however, the Hammers are offering a compromise option: to sign Elliott for one season and then pay full compensation next year. Last season, the English midfielder played 28 games for the Reds, scoring five goals and providing three assists.
