Spartak Moscow’s general manager Oleg Malyshev told a source why the club decided to invite striker Anton Zabolotny.
The footballer moved to the disbanded Himki team. He was the first player to appear for the Muscovites on July 13th in a friendly match against Spartak from the Serbian subotita.
The sports unit and coaching staff chose Anton from all available options. He allows them to add qualities that weren’t in the squad: power, a power struggle in the penalty area. I hope he will be useful in other matches and help score goals.
