Sporting striker Victor Diekeresh appreciated the level of his game.
When asked where he ranks among the best strikers in the world, such as Harry Kane, Robert Lewandowski and Erling HolandDiekeresh replied:
“Of course, I’m one of them. It’s difficult to determine my place, but yes, now I stand alongside them. They are exceptional football players who have been playing at the highest level for many years and have proven their worth much more than I have. For my part, I have a task to prove that I am also capable of maintaining such a standard from season to season. What I have managed to do in sport, I am sure I can repeat anywhere. You haven’t seen my best yet.”
It is reported that the 27-year-old wants to move to London’s Arsenal and has already agreed a personal contract with the Gunners.
