Chelsea head coach Enzo Mareste commented on the “rookie”‘s performance in the Round of 16 finals of the World Club Championship.
It’s important for us (progressing) because 32 clubs initially participated in this tournament, and now that number has shrunk to 16. In the last five or six years, some clubs have played in the Champions League final, for example, Atletico, who left the tournament. Therefore, we should be proud and happy – and now we’re in the Round of 16 final, the goal is to reach the top eight.
