Coach Michal Truc has left his position as coach of the Polish national team.
I have come to the conclusion that in this situation, my resignation as coach would be the best solution for the good of the national team. Fulfilling this position has been the fulfillment of my professional dreams and the greatest honor of my life. I would like to thank all my colleagues and employees of the Polish Football Union. I can always count on you. Thank you for your trust.
Earlier, it became known that Polish national team striker Robert Lewandowski was deprived of the captain’s bandage and subsequently decided not to play for the national team until the head coach’s postponement.
