Italian club Breshia has been expelled from the country’s professional leagues after failing to repay a €3 million debt.
Breshia was supposed to pay back wages for the past two months. However, the deadline passed, and the payments were never made. The Italian team will now be relegated to Serie D, the top division of Italy’s non-professional leagues. The club could be dissolved altogether if no one decides to buy it.
Last season, the team finished 15th in the Italian Serie B table.
Previously, Pep Guodiola, who is now the head coach of Manchester City, played for the club and critically assesses his work in this post. Source link
