According to the source, Barcelona has reached an agreement with La Liga to play at least the first three road games of the 2025/26 season.
This will allow the club several additional weeks to ensure the updated Campa Nou stadium is ready to meet minimum safety and operational requirements. The team will return home after an international break in September.
As a test, Barcelona intends to hold the Traditional Joan Hamper Cup on August 9-10 at the home arena. The tournament will be held with limited capacity (no more than 25,000 people).
