Schalke is negotiating with a 47-year-old specialist Raul regarding the possibility of his appointment as head coach next season.
Currently, Raul is in charge of the Real Madrid-Real Castilla reserve team, where he has worked since 2019.
Earlier, it was reported that Schalke also approached former Spartak and Belgian coach Domenico Tedesko with a proposal for cooperation, but the German specialist rejected this offer, citing his reluctance to work in the second Bundesliga.
