The Football Association of Uzbekistan announced the submission of a joint bid with Azerbaijan for the FIFA Futsal World Cup to host the 2027 U20 World Cup. It is noteworthy that Uzbekistan, along with Azerbaijan, is fully prepared for a prestigious tournament. Previously, the country has hosted the Asian U-20 and U-23 Futsal Championships, as well as the first-ever Futsal World Championship in Central Asia.
